Irene Day 2

Some snaps as I was driving out of Long Beach, went through Rockaway into Brooklyn. I was even able to find a gas station with gas.

We got slammed pretty hard but seems like it could have been much worse, the beach is pretty much gone also but flooding doesn't seem to be as bad as we thought.

Hurricane Irene Day 1

Long Beach was fun this morning, nice size not too big and easy entries! wasn't that steep, some where coming in nice and walled up!

Tomorrow is obviously going to be way bigger! Sunday will be the day Irene comes through, hopefully the destruction won't be that bad.

I snapped these pics after I got out as I was walking the dog on the boardwalk, tide was coming up but still decent. Stay safe everyone!
